Extensive connectivity

The city consists of approx. 1,300 km of road networks and 6 lanes expressway between Ahmedabad and Dholera SIR. It is provides great access to all nearby major cities like Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Rajkot along with complete metro access within most of its locations. Additionally, it also possesses its own international airport and seaport, thereby, further increasing its connectivity not only within local borders but with international ones as well. The area is also in close proximity to the Gujarat International Finance Tech-city. A freight train project connecting Dholera SIR to Bhimnath is also in process.

Vast areas

The entire zone is estimated to be twice the size of Delhi and around six times the size of Shanghai. An area of 22.5 sq km is assigned for Information and Communication Technology. 14000 sqm of area is designated for the Administrative and Business Center for Dholera. Great town planning schemes

In order to properly handle the immense industries and infrastructure within the area, Dholera SIR adopted the Town Planning Scheme (TPS) to ensure efficient working. Presently in total there are 6 TPS. The overall development of TP-1 which is around 51 sq km (12750 acres) and TP-2 which is around 102 sq km (25000 acres) are currently under works. TP-1 consists of massive roads ways of around 186 km and great utilities that include sewage treatment plants, water treatment plants, power plants, TELECOM and PNG.

Dedicated to cleanliness

Sanitation is a vital part of any city and hence, a 10 MLD sewage treatment plant created by Larsen & Toubro effectively caters to the demands of the times and the increase in population within the area. The project will be further expandable up to 30 MLD in the future. A 20MLD-35MLD waste water treatment plant is also part of the sanitation projects. An area of around 22.5 sq km is allotted for solid waste management within the area. Due to the city’s keen foresight, Dholera SIR has already constructed various plans and provisions that will be applicable for future needs.

Solar solutions

Dholera SIR keeps in tune with the pledge to be reliant on renewable resources and therefore, has set up a 5,000 MW solar park on the approval of the Government of Gujarat. The park is said to attract investments of approximately Rs 25,000 crore. The site also consists of a 430 MW power infrastructure that provides adequate energy to the entire area.
